WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Urban Planning & Historical Preservation

Charette Charter High School was founded in 2018 as a college-prep, community-based independent public high school that is known for its strong and trusting relationships among students, teachers and high academic expectations and standards for all students. Drawing applicants only from Providence, Charette was born from a love of the city. The themes also are the way in which Charette students engage the community and learn to become problem solvers and critical thinkers while participating in civic affairs. The curriculum is online in the summit platform, so transitions seamlessly from Distance to Partial Face-to-Face environments, while building the skills of self directed learning and 16 Habits of Mind.
